A husband in China has gone viral for continuing a romantic tradition between the couple, with a large stainless steel plaque commemorating the birth of their daughter.
There was a board Husband visited, surname Lee, to his wife after they gave birth to their daughter. It read, “Congratulations on having a baby girl! Giving birth to a child is wonderful, Zhang Yingxiao! August 2022.
Since the plaque was created ahead of time, it mistakenly lists the girl as August 2022, even though she was born on July 31.
“My wife’s expected delivery date was August 6, but she started having contractions from July 30 and gave birth to our son the next day,” Lee said. Wutong video.
The couple, who live in Yantai, East China’s Shandong province, started a tradition in 2021 of commemorating special occasions with stainless steel plaques. Lee sent his wife a plaque last year that read: “Our love is as strong as stainless steel! Zhang Yingxiao, I love you. 2021520.”
The stainless steel panels have since become an inside joke between the couple.
“The plaques are symbols of our deep love,” Lee said. “This plaque can be kept forever and is very meaningful.”

Lee added that he could not afford a fancier plaque due to his limited budget.
Weibo users were delighted with Li’s gift, poking fun at the couple.
“The sense of ceremony is so important!” A user commented.
“She nearly closed her eyes at the expression of the wife,” wrote another user.
The video has received 4.5 million views and 60,000 likes since it was uploaded on July 31.
